What: 16th Annual Native American Celebration in the Park Powwow
When: Saturday, July 24 at dusk
Where: Liberty park at 600 East 900 South
Info: After the Native American Celebration. Native American Celebration starts at 7am and will have food, crafts booths, multicultural entertainment. Powwow $5.00 (under 6 & over 65 Free) All other events/activities free
Special guests: Actor and stuntman Patrick Shining Elk, of Wyoming’s Eastern Shoshone tribe, who has appeared in “La Mis-sion” and “The Only Good Indian”; and Kiowa Gordon, wolfpack member from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”
