Salt Lake County Real Estate Market!
Here are the numbers looking back from 11/7/2011.
Today our inventory is as low as it's been all year. Our sales are still strong but the numbers have slowed somewhat. Our short sale inventory has also shrunk, however 27% of our homes active on the market are short sales.
We have signs of an improving market but short sales will still control the over-all prices of properties coupled with unemployment.
We really need to continue to grow our job base, especially jobs that are high paying enough to allow people to buy homes!
